About Eye Consultants of Northern Virginia

Michael Goldberg, MD founded his practice for ophthalmology in 1978. Since that time, the vision for the practice has been to provide the highest quality ophthalmic care in an efficient, compassionate, and caring environment. Our office is dedicated to our patients and committed to excellence.

Edward Parelhoff, MD joined the practice in 1986 and expanded the breadth of the practice to include pediatric ophthalmology.

Since those early years, the practice has grown incrementally to include additional anterior segment sub-specialties. Eight physicians now provide ophthalmic care to pediatric and adult patients in Springfield, Burke, Lorton, Lake Ridge, Woodbridge and surrounding cities in Northern Virginia. Our specialties include general ophthalmology, cataract/implant surgery, cornea and external disease, glaucoma treatment and surgery, and pediatric ophthalmology.

We continue to grow, however, our commitment to the highest quality patient care has remained constant through almost 40 years.
